6 Tips To Get Yourself and Your Horse In The Correct Mindset to Work:

 

  1. Have a plan
  2. Execute the plan
  3. Know the difference between effort, and no effort
  4. Know if it’s a question or an act of defiance
  5. Know when to back off or add more (timing is key)
  6. You are the leader, and they are the team member

  1. Lunging control their feet in all directions, not to wear them out
  2. Build their confidence by doing it over and over
  3. Teach them to handle stress/pressure
  4. Time to ride
  5. Lots of trotting and loping on a loose rain
